Reminder: We require everyone – including children over 2 – to wear a mask during Mass, and maintain social distancing. (One household per pew!) We ask that parishioners enter by the front doors only so that staff can keep an accurate count. Hand sanitizer is also provided by each door for use upon entry and before communion. Prayer Service on Zoom – Sunday at 11:00 AM

We will continue to offer the Prayer service on Zoom for those members of our community who are unable to attend Mass, so that we can continue to gather together in prayer. Throughout Ordinary Time, we will be using the Lectio Divina format for our prayer service, which allows for meditation, listening and sharing. The link is emailed out through the parish email list on Saturday. All are welcome – please join us!

Request for Help

Parishioner Maria M.- who used to sing the Alleluia so beautifully for us at Mass – could really use the help of someone with a truck to make a dump haul or two for her. The family has a collection of doors and other house renovation items stacked in the front yard that the landlord promised to remove but has not. They also have a large pile of very dry and flammable yard trimmings that need removed. Please call or email the parish office if you are able to help.

Franciscan Corner

These days we are inundated with news of covid-19. It’s always before us. The newspapers fill the front page with the latest update, every news channel has “breaking news” about it. It’s always on our minds and on our lips. We are occupied with it! Francis of Assisi was occupied with something too. It was in his mind, on his lips, in his ears and eyes and mouth, it was in his heart. He spoke about it, he dreamt about it, it was the first thing he thought of in the morning and the last thing on his lips at night. What was it? Jesus! The Word of God—the Gospel. Oh, that we might be as occupied with Jesus and His way, as we are with the corona virus!

(Thank you to Sr. Joanne for sharing these Franciscan reflections with us.)
