Sunday Lunch Refrigerator Update!

Thank you St Ann Community for being so generous and amazing! We had another great collection last week and we are only $245 short of paying for the whole fridge! We will continue taking donations until they have met their goal, so if you are able to donate, please make checks out to St Ann Catholic Church and write “Sunday Lunch – Refrigerator Fund” in the memo line. Thanks again for your generosity!

Parish Directory Update!!

If you had your directory photo taken at another church, other than St Ann, please contact Elizabeth at communityofstann@gmail.com this week. There has been some confusion and we want to make sure everyone who had a photo taken is included in the directory.

Also, if you did not have a photo taken by the directory company, then please talk to Elizabeth soon about submitting a photo of your own. The directory company will only accept a limited number of personal photos, and time is running out.

Food For All Spice Drive

St Ann will be participating in the Catholic Charities Food For All Spice Drive during the months of January and February. We will have a box available in the Church next week for you to drop off your new or used spices. Check out the flyers on the doors of the church, or grab an extra flyer on the way out for more information. Thank you!!

“Our mission at Food For All is to build better access to healthy affordable food for vulnerable families. During the winter when our farm is closed, we run a meal program called Welcoming Table: A wholesome, nutritious meal provided y Catholic Charities Food For All. Each year we host a spice drive, to collect new or used spices that can be used for the meals and given to residents to replicate the meals.”

Update – New Refrigerator for Sunday Lunch Program

Thank you St Ann Community for being so generous & amazing!! After just one week, the St Ann Community raised over half the price of the new commercial grade refrigerator needed for The Neighborhood Sunday Lunch Program! This is such fantastic news, and the people that run the program were thrilled to hear how successful we were in helping.

We will continue taking donations until they have met their goal, so if you are able to donate please make checks out to either “St. Ann Catholic Church” and clearly mark the memo section as “Sunday Lunch refrigerator fund” or make checks out directly to “The Neighborhood Sunday Lunch Program”, and clearly mark the memo line as “refrigerator fund” so it does not go toward the general fund of operational expenses. Thanks again for your generosity!!

Needed: New Refrigerator for Sunday Lunch!

Over the next couple of months we are hoping to help raise money for The Neighborhood Sunday Lunch Program with the purchase of a new commercial grade refrigerator. Right before Christmas the commercial refrigerator, which was donated years ago to Sunday Lunch, broke. In the scramble to find another one to hold all of the food for Christmas dinner, the Sunday Lunch Program was able to utilize the ‘credit’ of Sam and Tim O’Doherty (O’Doherty Pub & Restaurant) and have another one brought in. But… the refrigerator is not yet paid for and after discounts and a couple of company donations, they are still in need of about $1,500 to pay off the rest of the total cost.
If you are able to donate, please make checks out to either “St Ann Catholic Church” and clearly mark the memo section as “Sunday Lunch – refrigerator fund” or you can make checks out directly to “The Neighborhood Sunday Program”, and again, please clearly mark the memo line as “refrigerator fund” so it does not go towards the general fund of operational expenses.
Thank you in advance for your generosity!
